  • Voter concerns in the 2025 Barbuda Council elections

The most prevalent political concerns in the 2025 Barbuda Council elections (late March) are land rights, the environment, and failing infrastructure. With the emergence of the "Plan Barbuda" movement, more Barbudans are involving themselves in the issue of land rights. The central government has also commenced the land adjudication process in most of the island's districts. Related to the issue of land rights, some Barbudans are also concerned about the potential environmental impact of new developments. Barbuda's infrastructure has also not fully recovered from Hurricane Irma, with both the central government and Barbuda Council competing to improve them.
